Photography
I am well-versed on shooting on both film and digital. My personal favorite medium is film, but I find beauty and strength in both formats.
I don’t like to be boring. While I don’t mind traditional portraiture and landscape, I search for more in my work. How can we make the tools of abstract photography purposeful? How can we capture a feeling in more than just a literal copy of real life? How can we take advantage of this format? It’s about implementing purposeful imperfections into a shot that draw you in; playing around with lighting and refractions; using different materials, settings, and other visual alterations to create a unique snapshot of how the moment feels.
The frame’s the limit.
